Dercy Gonçalves
Dolores Gonçalves Costa, better known as Dercy Gonçalves ( born June 23, 1907 in Santa Maria Madalena in the state of Rio de Janeiro, † July 19, 2008 in Rio de Janeiro) was a Brazilian actress and comedienne.
Life
The daughter of a tailor grew up with six siblings in poverty. She began her stage career in 1929. Later, she worked in theater, revues, cinema, radio and television and achieved fame through the humorous use of vulgar expressions. During the Carnival in Rio in 1991 she made for discussion, as she bared her breasts at the parade of samba school.
From 1943 to 1963 she was married to the journalist Danilo Bastos. With Ademar Martins she has a daughter named Decimar, who was born 1934.
