Derek B. Miller

Derek B. Miller (* in Boston ) is an American author and scientist

Biographical

After living in Hungary, Israel, England and Switzerland, Miller has lived in Norway for a long time. After completing his doctorate at the University of Geneva, he was an expert in safety engineering and worked for various UN bodies, such as the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research. Miller is Director of the Research Institute The Policy Lab.

In 2010 he published his first novel, Norwegian By Night, which first appeared in Norway and has since been translated into many languages. In Germany he appeared in 2013 under the title A strange place to die. Derek B. Miller lives and works in Oslo.

Derek B. Miller is a stylistically confident author who builds complex structures sovereign, and so makes his debut at a literary event and an exciting thriller alike.
