Derek de Lint

Derek de Lint ( born July 17, 1950 in The Hague, as Dick Hein de Lint ) is a Dutch actor.

Life

Derek de Lint studied at the Art Academy in Enschede and later at the Small Academy of Art in Amsterdam.

His first film role in the movie Barocco from the year 1976. In 1977, he starred in the Paul Verhoeven film Soldier of Orange on the role of Alex. In 1986, de Lint took over the role of Anton Steenwijk in the film The attack, which won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 1987. In 2006, he starred in Verhoeven's Black Book as tanning Kuipers.

In Germany de Lint is especially for the role of Franz in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, as well as the television series Poltergeist - The Legacy become known.
