Derek Dinger

Derek Dinger ( born March 28, 1987 in Kassel, Germany ) is a German professional ice hockey player who currently plays with the ERC Ingolstadt in DEL.

Career

The 1.82 m tall defender started his career with the youth hockey Kassel, from where he moved to the polar bears Juniors Berlin early. Here he graduated in the 2005/06 season his first DEL inserts. With seven DEL inserts in the season 2005/ 06 and 16 DEL inserts in the season 2006/07 season, however, things could initially claim a regular place. To receive more ice age, the defender moved to the 2007/08 season in the 2nd Bundesliga REV Bremerhaven.

For the season 2009/10 Derek Dinger received a contract with the Kassel Huskies. Since the Kassel Huskies got no license for 2010/11 season because of insolvency proceedings, things got a one-year contract with the DEG Metro Stars.

Since August 2012 Derek Dinger runs in the DEL on for the ERC Ingolstadt and scored this season in 53 main round matches a goal and five assists.
