The Derinda Township is one of 23 townships in Jo Daviess County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois.

Geography

The Derinda Township is located approximately 20 kilometers west of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa. The border with Wisconsin is located about 40 km north.

The Derinda Township is located at 42 ° 14'22 " north latitude and 90 ° 09'24 " west longitude and extending over 95.86 km ², spread to 95.7 km ² land and 0.16 km ² water surface. To the west of the Township of Fitzgerald Lake is located.
