Derrick Plourde

Derrick Plourde ( born October 17, 1971 in Goleta, California, † 30 March 2005) was an American drummer and member of the bands Lagwagon, The Ataris, Sweet Action, Mad Caddies, Jaws, Rich Kids on LSD and Bad Astronaut.

Life

He got early in his life the diagnosis that he suffered from bipolar disorder. On 30 March 2005, he killed himself with a firearm.

Personal

His first band Lagwagon produced a commemorative album entitled Resolve. He was also mentioned in the NOFX song Doornails on the album Wolves in Wolves ' Clothing.
