The stone Lark ( Ammomanes deserti ) is a adapted to desert habitats kind of larks. It is distributed in North Africa, Near East and Central Asia. The plumage is similar to the sandy ground on which the bird is well camouflaged in its coloration.

Their nest is built the stone Lark usually on a rock or in a tuft of grass. On the windward side, it is attached with small stones.

In the dry interior of the deserts most females lay three eggs, in the outskirts of the desert also four to five.
