Geography

Desert Palms is located in the central part of Riverside County in the U.S. state of California. In the vicinity are the cities of Indio, Palm Desert and Indian Wells as well as the census-designated place Bermuda Dunes.

The town has 6957 inhabitants (as of 2010 census ). Desert Palms covers an area of 6.9 km ² which is nearly completely with 6.916 km ² of land area; the population density is thus 1,006 inhabitants per square kilometer. The center is located at an altitude of 34 meters.
