The Deshka River is a 71 km long river in southern Alaska. It arises from the confluence of Kroto Creek and Moose Creek in the valley west of the Talkeetna Mountains, flows in a southerly direction and joins around 15 kilometers north of the Yentna River in the Susitna River, which flows into the Cook Inlet.

The Deshka River attracts over a wide meanders with sandbanks in the middle of the river by up to 2.4 km wide river plain is bordered on the east by the Susitna River. Especially the headwaters located in a wetland, while middle and lower reaches of meandering through the undulating to flat terrain with moderately dense tree growth. The width of the flux varies between 15 and 90 m.
