Desiderius of Fontenelle
Desiderius of Fontenelle (* unknown; † 700 ) was a nobleman and the son of Waningus. Later, a monk in the Abbey of Saint - wall groove.
Only in the second biography of Wandregisel he is mentioned as particularly worthy monk and therefore as a saint. Otherwise, nothing is known about him.
After the abandonment of Saint- wall groove in the middle of the 9th century, his relics were transferred to Ghent in Belgium.
His feast day (Catholic ) is the 18 December.
