Destruction Bay, Yukon

Destruction Bay is a village on the Alaska Highway ( 1083 km ) in the Yukon Territory in Canada.

It is located at Kluane Lake and has 55 inhabitants on an area of 13.56 km ². Originally founded the town was a center for construction and maintenance work on the Alaska Highway, which constitutes its significance to this day essentially.

The place got its name from a storm that destroyed this building and construction materials during construction. School and shops are located in the neighboring Burwash Landing.
