Det Udom District

Amphoe Det Udom ( Thai: อำเภอ เดชอุดม ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the southern province of Ubon Ratchathani. Ubon Ratchathani is located in the northeast of Thailand, the Isaan.

Geography

Neighboring districts are ( from the northwest clockwise): Amphoe Samrong the, Warin Chamrap, Na Yia, Phibun Mangsahan, Buntharik, Na Chaluai, Nam Yuen, Khun Nam Thung Si Udom and the province of Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket Province and Amphoe Benchalak

Administrative units

Amphoe Det Udom is divided into 16 communes ( tambon), which in turn in 229 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are four towns in the County:

  • Mueang Det has a city - state ( thesaban Mueang ), it consists of parts of the tambon Mueang Det
  • Na Suang has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon), it consists of parts of the tambon Na Suang.
  • Bua Ngam has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon), it consists of parts of the Tambon Bua Ngam.
  • Kut Prathai has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon), it consists of the whole tambon Kut Prathai.

There are also ten administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).

Note: The missing geocodes refer to the Tambon, from which today the districts of Thung Si Udom Na Yia and exist.
