Detlev Buck
Detlev Buck ( born December 1, 1962 in Bad Segeberg ) is a German actor, screenwriter, producer and director.
Life
Buck grew up on the family farm in Nienwohld, Schleswig -Holstein, on and completed after school and civil service trained as a farmer. Even during the apprenticeship, he turned at the age of 21 years, his first film First work, then? . Buck led at various German hit films of the 1990s, directing, including men's board ( with Til Schweiger, Marie Bäumer and Heike Makatsch ), with whom he had his breakthrough. As CEO of Silver Lake Film GmbH Buck has also worked as a commercial director. In the company originated between 1994 and 1996 for the beer Flensburg Pilsner commercials that show the so typical of Buck humor. With Joachim Löw he shot commercials for Nivea.
From October 2005, moderated Buck for a few months on N24 along with journalist and film critic Knut Elstermann the weekly broadcast Cinema Talk, were discussed in the movies. Since 2005 he is member of the Free Academy of the Arts in Hamburg.
Detlev Buck has three daughters and lives in Berlin and in Nienwohld.
