Detroit Hettche

The Detroit Hettche were a Canadian ice hockey franchise in the International Hockey League from Detroit, Michigan. The venue of the Hettche was the Olympic Stadium.

History

The Detroit Hettche went in front of the Windsor Spitfires Hettche who moved in 1949 to Detroit. The club spent three seasons in the IHL active and could at that time once again reach the third, once the sixth and fifth place. The qualification for the play-offs but never managed the team. After the 1951/52 season, the Detroit Hettche were dissolved.
