Deuben is a district of the municipality of the city unit Teuchern in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).

Geography

Deuben is between White Rock and Zeitz at the Nödlitz. As districts of the village Deuben (with Tackau ) Obernaundorf ( with pit Paul II) and poacher reported ( with Nödlitz ).

History

The place was first mentioned in records in 1017.

Until June 30, 2007 Deuben was a member of the administrative community Zeitz country.

From the city Teuchern and the communities Deuben, Gröben, Gröbitz, Krauschwitz, Nessa, Prittitz and Trebnitzgrund the unified community Teuchern city was formed on 1 January 2011 by law. The Deuben railway station is on the railway line Weissenfels - Zeitz, from here trains the Burgenlandbahn in the directions Zeitz / Leipzig and Weissenfels / Halle. Until 1998/99 was over the train track Großkorbetha - Deuben connection towards Hohenmolsen and Leipzig- Plagwitz.
