Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg

The German International School of Johannesburg ( DSJ ) is a school founded in Johannesburg in 1890, with around 1030 students from 27 countries (as of 2009 ).

The DSJ includes kindergarten, primary school and secondary classes that do not correspond to the tripartite school system, however, the statements referred to in Classes 9, 10 and 12 are equivalent to the corresponding counterparts in Germany. As is common in South Africa, the school year is the calendar year.
