The German Leasing AG (DL ) is the largest independent leasing company in Germany. The company has its headquarters in Bad Homburg since 1987 and is leasing competence center of the Savings Banks Finance Group; Shareholders are around 400 savings banks, directly or through subsidiaries. The German lease is the sole shareholder of Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing in Wiesbaden.

History

In 1962, the " German Leasing GmbH " was entered as the first leasing company in Germany in the Commercial Register Dusseldorf. A little later the other two predecessor companies of Deutsche Leasing were founded: the " machine rental GmbH" and the " Mietdienst GmbH". In 1971, these companies joined the German Leasing AG. By the year 1991, the founder of the "machine -Rent GmbH", Albrecht Dietz, CEO of the new corporation.

The German lease is in its home market of Germany the market leader among independent leasing companies.

Products

The first leasing object of the company - and thus the first leasable capital assets in Germany - was a cash register of the company Sweda of 1962, the company now operates as a full range of both movables and real estate field.
