The German sports club for football statistics ( DSFS ) is the umbrella organization for German football statistician.

History

The DSFS was established on 1 July 1971 as an organization for German football statistician. It deals with the statistical coverage of national and international football in the past and present. The DSFS is a registered as a non-profit association based in Wiesbaden. For club also includes well-known football history writers like Hardy Green and members from European countries where no such associations exist. The active DSFS members are regularly contact for regional and national media on the subject of football.

The results of his non-profit work published the DSFS in so far over 180 books with results, tables and stats to clubs and players. The best known of these publications is the yearbook German Football Almanac (until 2009: Germany's football in numbers).
