Deutschland sucht den Superstar (season 3)
The third season of the German singing talent show Germany sucht den Superstar was broadcast on 16 November 2005 to 18 March 2006. The previous presenters were replaced by Tooske ragas and Marco Schreyl. The magazine for the show was moderated by Nina Moghaddam and David Wilms. The jury was reduced to three people, and mostly re-staffed; alongside Dieter Bohlen rated Sylvia Kollek and Heinz Henn candidates. The final of denied Mike Leon Grosch and Tobias Regner, who was able to prevail in short supply.

The first theme show was titled Greatest Hits, was held on January 7, 2006. Carolina Escolano had to leave the show.
Second Mottoshow
The second theme show of the third season hits of the 80s took place on 14 January 2006. Dasha Semcov retired from the show.
Third Mottoshow
The third theme show Rock Classics took place on 21 January 2006. Stephan Darnstädt has left the competition voluntarily. Didi Knoblauch, who was eliminated in the third top 20 show advances for Darnstädt after.

Semifinal
Mike Leon Grosch, Vanessa Jean Dedmon and Tobias Regner fought on 11 March 2006 to the two tickets to the final. For the first time this season, each candidate sang three songs. The motto of the semifinal was soft rock. The third song devoted to each candidate a certain person.
At the end of the evening, Mike Leon Grosch and Tobias Regner were elected to the finals of the spectators. Vanessa Jean Dedmon did not have enough calls and retired shortly before the final.
Final
On March 18, Mike Leon Grosch and Tobias Regner fought for the title Superstar 2006. During the first round of the counterparty sang a song of their choice, then a song they have already sung in a live show and sang in the third round each his winning song.
