Deva Premal

Deva Premal (born in 1970 in Nuremberg, Germany ) is a new-age singer who has become known for her atmospheric interpretations of Hindu mantras.

She is the daughter of the visual artist Wolfgang Fries and a classical musician, was influenced as a child by mantras and eastern spirituality and received very early violin, piano and singing lessons.
