Devil Take Us is an American documentary film from 1952 directed by Herbert Morgan. Morgan also wrote the screenplay for the film and served as producer.

Action

A police official, who usually rides a motorbike in the service, will buy a used car in order to go for a short vacation with his family to the East Coast. Along the way there are minor problems with the car, but also trouble with reckless behavior on the road. The policeman exchanged his experiences traveling with a colleague from the highway patrol from the reports on his part, bad experiences with traffic hooligans. The publication focuses on the perception of the police officers, as the return from the leave of the trip in the holiday is different.

Production and background

The filming occurred in California in the USA.

Del Kuhn, who is seen here in the role of the police officer, was one of the leading off-road motorcycle racers of the United States in the 1940s and 1950s. He won among others the prestigious Greenhorn Enduro in the years 1948, 1950 and 1951. Kuhn also practiced the profession of police officers.
