Devin Ebanks

Devin Ebanks ( born October 28, 1989 in Queens, New York ) is an American professional basketball player who was most recently with the Los Angeles Lakers in the North American professional league in the NBA under contract.

Career

Ebanks played between 2008 and 2010 college basketball for the team of West Virginia University. In his first year he was employed around 30 minutes per game and scored an average of 10.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists. In the second year he got got four minutes per game more playing time and was able to improve his stats again, so get an average of 12.0 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists him. He then signed up for NBA Draft 2010, in which he was selected in the second round by 43 out of the Los Angeles Lakers. When he joined the NBA, were his best performances in college, among other things 22 points and 18 rebounds.

In his first season for the Lakers it was used 20 times and scored achieve 3.1 points on average in 5.9 minutes per game. In his second season he got about three times as much playing time, but was able to achieve only 0.9 points more per game. In the first round of the NBA playoffs 2012, he stood in six of seven games against the Denver Nuggets in the starting five and was able to achieve an average of 4.7 points. He pulled a with the Lakers in the second round, in which he starred, however, only in two games and eventually defeated with his team after four games later runner-up Oklahoma City Thunder.

2013 Ebanks moved to the farm team of the Dallas Mavericks, to the Texas Legends in the D- League.
