Dhahi Khalfan Tamim

Dahi Khalfan Tamim (Arabic ضاحي خلفان تميم, DMG Dahi Tamim Halfan; born October 1, 1951 also: Khalfan Tamim Dhahi ) is the police chief of the Emirate of Dubai. He holds the rank of lieutenant general.

Tamim in 1970 studied in Amman on " Royal Police College ". In 1979 he became deputy chief of police in Dubai. For his services Tamim was Crown Prince Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum with the Order of Merit, First Class ("Service Order of First Class" ) and the recognition Medal, First Class ( " Appreciation Medal of First Class" ) awarded.

In 1980 he was promoted to head of the police forces of Dubai. He took over in early 2010, the investigation into the murder Mahmoud al - Mabhouh.

Tamim is also President of e- TQM College of Hamdan bin Mohammed University. He lives with his wife and five children in Jumeirah.
