Diamondback at Kings Iceland (Kings Mills, Ohio, USA) is a steel roller coaster model from hyper coaster manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard, opened on April 18, 2009.

The 22- million -US-dollar, 1,610 m long track reaches a height of 70 m and has a 66 m high first drop of 74 °. The top speed is 129 km / h

History

On 11 October 2007, initiated by the felling of a tree with the construction of the railway. Before the season opening in 2008 the swan pond, which should include the splashdown element later, drained and poured first concrete foundations for the supports. On August 6 Diamondback was officially announced as the largest investment of Kings Iceland. The 70 m high lift hill was completed on October 30. On 26 January 2009 the railway track circuit celebrated. First test runs were a month later, performed on February 26. 18 April 2009 Diamondback was officially opened.

Diamondback has three trains with eight cars. In each car four people can (a series ) take place. As a lap bar restraint system are used. The seats of one row are arranged in a V shape so that the two inner seats are slightly before the two outer seats.
