Dian Lake

The Dian Chi (Chinese滇池, Pinyin Dian Chí ) is a freshwater lake in the eastern part of the Yunnan -Guizhou Plateau in the area of Kunming, capital of Yunnan province. He is also sometimes Kunming Lake (昆明 湖, Kunming Hu) called.

The listed hydropower plant Shilongba (石龙 坝 水电站) is operated with its water.

The lake is also the only occurring here, in the meantime, however, regarded as extinct Wolterstorff pig lived.
