Diana Winter
Diana Winter ( born 1985 in Florence) is an Austrian-Italian musician.
Life
Winter was born as the daughter of an Italian father and an Austrian. In her childhood, she came up with a number of languages and cultures in contact. Since she grew up in a musical family - her mother is a classical pianist - she heard as a child a wide variety of music from Bach to Louis Armstrong. In 1995, she began to learn classical guitar, later she turned to more modern guitar players like De Moraes, Pernambuco, Ned Brower and to Brindle.
Then she started composing and wrote it at age 14 her first song. They also began a singing training in a gospel choir. As a teenager, she started her own way in the music business to tread by she appeared in various small clubs. Later, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Sananda Maitreya and Sarah Vaughan were singing to your models. In 2004, Diana Winter DVOM arranger, guitarist and producer Fabio Balestrieri was discovered un their first album " Escapizm " appeared.

Album Escapizm
The album was produced by Fabio Balestrieri for Kouyate and recorded over a period of two years in Italy, Belgium and the UK. This was due to the collaboration with Phil Gould ', which also has Rain and Dream Alone co-produced. Many of the songs were recorded in Phil Gould Cottage Studio in Dorset. The production followed the idea to create an album of sounds, which corresponded to the desire of Fabio Balestrieri and winter to real music, so every detail has been played with real instruments. This idea was developed at Hours in the Studio Window, which has recorded most of the instruments - including the sound of frogs at the creek.
Here, the harmonica player Toots Thielemans, percussionist Miles Bould, bassist Pino Pecorelli, keyboardist and singer Mike Lindup, bassist Yolanda Charles and Mirco de Grandis and violinist Neil Black worked with. The mastering of the album was done by Martin Giles at Alchemy Soho in London.
