Diane Schuur

Diane Schuur Joane ( born December 10, 1953 in Tacoma, Washington) is a blind because of retinopathy of prematurity American jazz singer and pianist.

Life

Diane Schuur had her first appearance at the age of 10 years as a country singer. Their big breakthrough, however, came in 1979 when Stan Getz she discovered the Monterey Jazz Festival. Getz invited her to join him at a concert at the White House. In 1984 she was invited by Nancy Reagan once again. She won a Grammy in 1986 and 1987 as "Best Jazz Singer ". Your 1994 released album Heart To Heart was created in collaboration with BB King, the album Midnight from 2003 with Barry Manilow.
