DiC Entertainment

DiC Entertainment was a film studio, which was founded in 1971 by Jean Chalopin in Luxembourg as a subdivision of Radiotelevisión Luxembourg ( RTL). The name DiC stands for Diffusion, Information et Communication. The company also had a headquarters in the United States, which was founded in 1982, and was led by Andy Heyward, Robby London and. The headquarters was located in Burbank, California. DiC was an independent company. In the past, but it was also owned by the Walt Disney Company, Capitol Cities / ABC and Bain Capital.

DiC was acquired in 2008 by the Canadian company Cookie Jar Group and now operates under the name Cookie Jar Entertainment on.
