Dick Annegarn

Dick Annegarn ( born May 9, 1952 in The Hague) is a Dutch singer, songwriter and guitarist. He sings songs almost exclusively in French, rarely in English. He spent his first six years in the Netherlands. After that, he lived in Brussels, in 1972, he moved to Paris. Here he published in 1973 his first album Sacré Géranium, which was a great success. Among his most famous songs include Bruxelles (1973 ), Mireille (1975) and Coutances (1975).

After he recorded three albums, he withdrew into the ground and lived on a houseboat. The artist currently lives in Laffite - Toupiere in France.

Special

The song Coutances was in the film The Science of Sleep - used instructions for Dreaming ( 2006) by director Michel Gondry. It is located on the same soundtrack. Michel Gondry also directed the video for the song " Soleil du soir " (2008) from the eponymous album by Dick Annegarn.

Dick Annegarn had a small supporting role as an actor in the French feature film Mammoth (2010) by Benoît Delépine and Gustave Kervern.
