Dick Bush

Richard Henry Bush ( born December 2, 1931 in Devonport, Devon, England; † August 4, 1997 in West Devon, England ) was a British cinematographer.

Life

After finishing school, Richard Henry Bush served in the Royal Military Police. He then worked in various professions and turned among other advertising and industrial films in a shoe factory. This meant that he got a job at the BBC. After several documentaries and episodes of various television series, debuted in 1968 in the Bush, directed by Tony Richardson film drama Satan shuffles the cards as a cameraman for a feature film. For his work on the staged by John Schlesinger film Yanks Drama - Yesterday we were still strangers he was in 1980 honored with a nomination from the British Academy Film Award for Best Cinematographer.
