Dickie Moore (ice hockey)

Richard Winston " Dickie" Moore ( born January 6, 1931 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who for the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues played from 1951 to 1968 in the National Hockey League.

Career

Moore grew up in Montreal with seven brothers in a working class family and played in the Junior Canadiens of Montreal. When he was come into the NHL team the Canadiens in 1951, he got an offer for the minimum of $ 7000, what him very disappointed. He refused, for the first time showed his very pronounced obstinacy.
