The 4 there is a satirical television series that first aired in the spring of 2007 as part of the weekly Thursday night on ORF 1. In each of the self-contained 30 - minute programs a topic is taken up from the current social, political, and social life of Austria.

Content

All the roles change from episode to episode, were embodied by the four actors and comedians Rupert Henning, Thomas Maurer, Florian Scheuba and Erwin Steinhauer, who also wrote the screenplays. Director of the first season of the series was David Schalko, in the second season led Rupert Henning Director.

Form and style of the items change every episode. The stylistic devices used are modeled on each different television formats such as, among others, docu-dramas, television dramas and feature articles.

The first season was released on 16 November 2007 on DVD. The second season was released on 26 September 2008 at Hoanzl on DVD.

It is now known that the series will not be continued.

Awards

Rupert Henning, Florian Scheuba and Thomas Mason were awarded Best Screenplay for The 4 because in April 2008 with the television Romy price in the category.
