The Fire Angel is a produced by the Monaco Film GmbH for RTL 13-part German TV series that plays on a fictitious Hamburg fire station, the " City Guard ".
Action
In the center of the action, which consists of seven firefighters team a fire station, which has also privately to cope in addition to their daily operations some stands. After Christian Ohmke was appointed unexpectedly to the new platoon leader rehearsed Operations Department of the Hamburg City Guard, he manages to convince his first skeptical colleagues by not only his expertise but also its fair conduct of his leadership qualities. This is not so easy to realize, because Theo Grabowski, who had also sought this post is for his colleagues always a model which competence and reliability concerns.

Publication
The series aired from September 22, 1997 Monday at prime time on RTL. After the quota expectations were not met, a second season was produced. Repetitions of the series followed in 2000 and 2001 on RTL and in 2003 on Super RTL. Since then, the series was not yet to be seen in the German free-TV.
The complete series on DVD was released in the fall of 2009.
