Die Furche
The furrow is an Austrian weekly newspaper.
History
The furrow was established on 1 December 1945 by Friedrich Funder as " Cultural Policy Wochenschrift ". From 1946 to 1955 she was known as the "The Austrian furrow ". The newspaper is published by the publishing house Styria and has a paid circulation of 15,333 copies in Austria ( 1st half of 2008, according to Austrian edition control). The paper appears on Thursdays.
The furrow is not a church newspaper and does not understand itself as the voice of the Roman Catholic church hierarchy. Very probably the furrow is but the religious discourse - which refers not only to Christianity - an issue which manifests itself in the form of a separate religious ministries.
