The grass Lion is a children's film series by director Jürgen Weber Based on the book by Wiebke Jaspersen from the year 2002. It is based on the grass lion, a role model for children to bring their closely the issue of environmental protection.

Action

The transmitter mobile TV has declared a contest for children. It's about a television program for environmental protection. The most promising candidates are on the one hand, the two girls Svenja and Margret and on the other hand, the boys' team Simon and Murat. First, both teams fight against each other. But in the end they realize that they can achieve the goal only by working together. So the grass lions are founded.

After the successful TV report the Graslöwen get a dedicated slot in the TV show reporter Cornelia. This is from the children, however, was not convinced and tried to boycott the work of grass lion. But the grass Lion will always appear as the winner and reveal many " dirty tricks " such as environmental destruction, factory farming, etc.
