Die Jakobsleiter

The Jacob's Ladder is an oratorio (unfinished) for soloists, chorus and orchestra, which was created by the composer Arnold Schoenberg in the years 1916-1917 according to its own seal.

An attempt Schoenberg, the fragment in order to complete 1944/45, was unsuccessful. Only after his death, a score was created on behalf of his widow by Winfried Zillig.
