The hypocrite is a satirical home movie of Thomas Kronthaler, which satirizes the real construction of a fast-food restaurants at Deer Mountain on bavarian kind.

Action

The old Magdalena separator includes a plot near the motorway, to the fast-food restaurant with motorway access road will be built. This they will not so easily back out and using the woodcarver John, the asylum seeker Theophile and the local Boy Scouts, she manages to keep the mayor and his Spezln in check, however.

Background

Thomas Kronthaler succeeded with his graduation film at the University of Television and Film Munich a small cinema success in Bavaria. About 180,000 moviegoers watched the movie. Marcus H. Rose Mueller, who graduated from the Munich Film School in the year under Kronthaler, therefore called the hypocrites later a pioneer for his success movie who dies earlier is longer dead

The hypocrite is based on real events in Das Kronthaler home. The special feature of this work is that the residents of the community Irschenberg have the student film fully supported. The film was made on location.
