The spider was a fictional escape aid organization of SS

The spider was supposedly founded at the turn of 1948/1949 in the Austrian internment camps for former Nazis in Glasbach. Curt Riess reported in 1949 about the background of the spider in a series of articles in this acted Johann von Leers, a leading member of the spider. In its reports, the Nazi war criminal act independently, without the help of Allied intelligence services and charitable organizations.
