Diedrich Bader

Life

Diedrich Bader grew up from the age of two in Paris (France). Here he developed his love for slapstick legends such as Charlie Chaplin and the desire itself to be an actor. For the High School Bader returned to the United States. He then studied drama at the North Carolina School of the Arts. During the holidays, he was elected by a casting agent for a small role in a pilot film that was never sent. Bader moved to Los Angeles and auditioned for various roles before. He received in 1989 in the series Star Trek His first role - The Next Generation. This was followed by guest roles in comedy series such as Cheers, 21 Jump Street, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Frasier and Monk.

His first lead role in 1993 thanks to the director Penelope Spheeris in the short-lived sitcom Danger Theatre. Shortly thereafter, the first starring role followed in a movie. He played the role of Jethro in the film based on the television series The Beverly Hillbillies. His greatest success came Diedrich Bader in 1995 in the role of Lee Harvey Oswald in the sitcom Drew Carey Show. The series was set in 2004.

Due to its distinctive, deep voice Bader is often used for speaking roles, usually cast as a villain in animated series. Among the best known of these synchronous roles of a saber-toothed tiger heard in the movie Ice Age. He is married to actress Dulcy Rogers.
