Diego Abal

Diego Abal ( born December 28, 1971) is a football referee from Argentina and an international referee since 2008 by FIFA. He lives in San Salvador.

In 2005, he debuted in the first Argentine league, in February 2010, he led his first game in the Copa Libertadores. After his participation in the South American Under-17 Championship 2009, he was selected by FIFA as a referee for the Under-17 World Cup 2011 in Mexico, where he conducted two preliminary round games.

He is on the shortlist for the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and participates in the Confederations Cup 2013 in Brazil in part.
