Diego Alessi

Diego Alessi ( born November 3, 1971 in Rome, Italy ) is an Italian race car driver.

Career

Alessi launched from 1996 to 1999 and from 2001 to 2002 in the Italian Touring Car Championship. He finished the 1999 season in third place in the overall standings. From 2003 to 2005 he competed in the Maserati Trofeo. In the FIA ​​GT3 European Championship Alessi piloted 2006-2010 an Aston Martin DBRS9 (BMS Scuderia Italia ), a Corvette Z06 GT3 (Marc Sourd Racing) and a Ferrari 430 Scuderia ( Chad Racing).

In the 2011 season Alessi drives his first season in the ADAC GT Masters. On the side of Daniel Keilwitz he moved a Corvette Z06.R GT3 Callaway Competition. Among his teammates are Heinz -Harald Frentzen and Sven Hanna forest that share both a Corvette. Alessi 2013 wins the drivers' standings.
