Diego de Estella

Diego de Estella (also: Didacus Estella, Estella Diego, Diego de Ballesteros y Cruzat; * 1524 in Estella (Navarra ), † 1578 in Salamanca) was a Spanish theologian and mystic.

Life

De Estella wrote a book about St Luke, which was followed by the Spanish Inquisition; under the pseudonym Didacus Stella, he was a narrator of the parable on the shoulders of giants.
