Diego Ruiz (footballer)

Diego Alejandro Ruiz Scheuschner ( born December 19, 1980 in San Miguel de Tucumán ) is an Argentine football player with German roots and a German passport. Currently plays the striker in the Romanian League 1 for FCM Târgu Mureş.

Diego Ruiz started in 1997 his career at Lanus in Argentina. After two years he moved to CA San Telmo. In July 2004 he went to KRC Genk. After just one season he signed with Chile in CD Huachipato. In January 2008 he moved to CFR Cluj. On 2 March 2008, he made ​​his debut in Liga 1, when he came off the bench in the 1-3 defeat against Steaua Bucharest for André Leão in 81 minutes.
