Dieter Herbst

Dieter Georg Herbst ( born July 31, 1960 in Groß-Gerau/Hessen ) is brand and communications expert who teaches at several universities in Germany and abroad as well as author to communication issues.

Life

Autumn studied journalism, sociology, psychology, education and economics in Frankfurt am Main, Berlin and Hagen. He received his doctorate in 1990 with a sociological work. From 1987 he worked as an advisor of corporate communications for Schering AG in Berlin and subsequently as Managing Partner of the source one networks GmbH, where he advises companies, organizations and individuals internationally. Since 1993 he teaches Strategic Communication Management at the University of Arts in Berlin. Autumn is Honorary Professor at the University of Arts Berlin and a visiting professor Head of the Master's program "Leadership in Digital Communication " at the University of Arts in Berlin. He also heads up the post- MBA " Digital Brand Management around the World". Autumn is the main lecturer in communication management in two EMBA courses at the University of St. Gallen. As a visiting professor he teaches " ecommmerce in China " at the Jiao Tong University in Shanghai.

Autumn is also a member of numerous juries, for example, Jury BCP Best of Corporate Publishing, Human Best Brands Awards and expert bodies.
