Dieter Kürten

Dieter Kürten ( born April 23, 1935 in Duisburg) is a German sports reporter.

He became known primarily through the moderation of the current Sports studios at ZDF, for which he has worked since 1963. But as a reporter and presenter at Football Games, World Championships and Olympic Games, he came into existence. Among other things, he commented for ZDF the final of the European Football Championship in 1980 and the semifinals of the soccer World Cup 1990 between Germany and England, which the German team in a penalty shootout won ( " ... and he Fires! Kuerten moderated the latest sports studio between October 1967 and 30 September 2000: 21, 375 times, earning earning his nickname Mr. gym.
