Dieter Meier
Dieter Meier ( born March 4, 1945 in Zurich ) is a Swiss conceptual artist and musician who is best known as the lead singer of the electropop formation Yello.
Life
Meier came from a banking family. He holds a law degree, but he did not finish, first worked unsuccessfully as a playwright and stayed for a time with poker games over water.
In the early years of his artistic career at the end of the 1960s and early 1970s, Meier, who describes himself as " Individual anarchists " and appears in public almost exclusively with mustache, scarf and cigar made , carefully exceptional actions on themselves. Entrepreneur and Investor
As an entrepreneur Dieter Meier is involved in Euphonix, a company belonging to Avid company for digital mixing consoles and DAW controller in Silicon Valley. Meier builds organic vegetables and red wine, watches designs and breeds cattle.
