Geographical Location

The scattered settlements community Dietersburg located about seven kilometers north of the county town parish churches, 28 kilometers southwest of Vilshofen, 32 kilometers southeast of Landau and 21 kilometers from Eggenfelden located in Region Landshut.

History

Dietrichspurch was first mentioned in 1130 and was later called Every castle, from 1886 final Dietersburg. It belonged to Rentamt Landshut and the district court parish churches of the Electorate of Bavaria.

In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community. The parish Dieter castle was built in 1829. On April 4, 1886, the former municipality Name Each castle was officially changed to Dietersburg.

In 1975, the Bavarian government ordered according to their plans for local government reform in the resolution of community Dietersburg and the integration of parts of the territory into three different neighboring communities. With a judicial review application to the Bavarian Administrative Court, the municipality was able to stop this project. It was only formed on May 1, 1978, a community management with the communities Johanniskirchen and Egglham, but which was already resolved to January 1, 1980 again.

Incorporations

On April 1, 1971, until then independent municipality Nöham was incorporated. On 1 July 1971, added Baumgarten.

Population Development

The main town Dietersburg himself had only 242 inhabitants in 1970.

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of 1021 T € in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) equivalent to € 170 t.

Culture and sights

  • The late- Gothic parish church of the Assumption has some significant Gothic figures, the other equipment is predominantly baroque.

Economy, agriculture and forestry

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the field of Agriculture and Forestry 26, 330 in manufacturing and in trade and transport 30 persons work at the workplace.
