Dieter am Gnasbach is a municipality with 367 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the southeastern Styria. It is located in the judicial district of Bad Radkersburg or district Südoststeiermark.

Dieter am Gnasbach lake in the Styrian Volcanic Region in Southeastern Styria district in the Austrian state of Styria.

There are no other cadastral except Dieter am Gnasbach.

The municipality Dieter am Gnasbach is fused according to the new community structural reform with the town of Sankt Peter am Ottersbach.

History

The abolition of the manorial system was carried out in 1848., The local church as an autonomous body was established in 1850. After the end of World War II, there were clashes with the Ljubljana " National Government for Slovenia and Istria " on the membership of the territory. After the annexation of Austria in 1938, the community came to Reichsgau Styria, 1945-1955, she was part of the British zone of occupation in Austria.

Village band

In 1967, the real band music was revived, as in the music school Gnas five young lads decided to learn a musical instrument in Dieter village after the war.

1982, the club was officially founded and has since grown steadily. For their 30th anniversary, which was celebrated in 2011 as part of the district in meeting musicians Dieter am Gnasbach, the club can with many members, including a high proportion of young, seen in a successful future.
