Dietlof Reiche

Dietlof Reiche ( born March 31, 1941 in Dresden ) is a German writer of children 's books.

Rich undertook after high school as a career officer in the army and studied mechanical engineering. From 1970-1974 Rich was a research associate in the Department of Work Science. His first book for teens The lead seal forger was awarded the German Youth Literature Prize. In 2002, he won the Segeberger spring.

Rich lives and works as a freelance writer in Hamburg. He is the brother of Volker Reiche.
