Dietmar Demuth

Dietmar Demuth ( born January 14, 1955 in cross- ford ) is a German football coach and former player.

Stations as a player

Demuth began his career at TuS Osdorf and later moved to FC St. Pauli. There he played 1977/78 his first season in the Bundesliga 1. In 1979, Demuth Up for Bundesliga Bayer 04 Leverkusen, where he was held for four years. 1983/84 denied Demuth at Kickers Offenbach his last Bundesliga season. Then he returned to FC St. Pauli and even played a few years in the 2nd Bundesliga.

After his playing career Demuth 1990 amateur coach of FC St. Pauli. In the 1992/93 season he was an assistant coach at the 1 FC Kaiserslautern before he contested the 1993/94 his first season as head coach at SV Lurup. From 1996 to 1998 he was again engaged at VfL Wolfsburg as an assistant coach and had this post from 1999 also at his old club FC St. Pauli hold. After the departure of Willi Reimann he became head coach on March 15, 2000 and rose with his team in 2001, as in the Bundesliga. After the descent the following year and an unsuccessful start to the 2002/ 03 season Demuth was fired at FC St. Pauli.

In the following years he coached the Ghanaian club Ashanti Gold SC, before he came to Chemnitz FC in March 2005. There he was able to avoid relegation from the Regional League, but was released the following season in November 2005 due to persistent failure.

From November 2006 to March 2007, he was assistant coach, but March-June 2007 interim head coach of Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga, the threat of relegation to the Regionalliga could not turn away. For the 2007/08 season he was replaced by Benno Möhlmann.

On October 7, 2007 Demuth moved to Potsdam for SV Babelsberg 03 in the Regionalliga Nord, with whom he indeed won the National Cup, but failed to qualify for the newly created single-track 3 league. After a third place in the following season Demuth secured with the SV Babelsberg 03 on 9 May 2010 with a 1-0 home win against FC Halleschen the early season victory in the Regionalliga Nord and so the rise in the 3rd league. 14 May 2012 Demuth was released after relegation to the SV Babelsberg be running until 30 June 2013 contract was subsequently dissolved.

As of July 22, 2013, Demuth took the Hamburg state league club FC Bergedorf 85, where he served both as a head coach of the league team and as an instructor for the youth coach. Furthermore dared Demuth a trip to the restaurant and took over the club's premises. After only three months, he finished his work in Bergedorf. In March 2014 Demuth was introduced as the new coach of the regional league Berliner AK. There, he will help to realize the league, as well as winning the Berlin Cup.
